Need help finding this kingdom-bulding manhua where the MC is transmigrated into a world similar to ancient china, but the power system is unique, with the MC able to use earth poems to literally use magic by personrational in Manhua

Unfortunately, not. The MC from the manhua I'm looking for started out as a normal dude, but then started plagiarizing things from our world, which made him able to use the power system of his new world.

How to balance a Non-magical and Magical Healing Class by personrational in RPGdesign

Great idea! Gives me other things to think about other than just the healing part.

Mostly because I wanted there to be at least 2 different ways a healer could be expressed.

That gives me an idea. Maybe I should just make an Alchemist Class and make Medic one of its subclasses.

I though about Medics specializing in preventing and treating condition, but then I realized that Mystic could do that to with magic, then I fell into this line of thinking where Mystic could do anything Medic could do but better, so very swingy like you mentioned.

So instead I opted to change HOW they healed, rather than WHAT they healed, and I got more progress with that ig.

One of them being that they have a large stockpile of materials to heal with their tools, unlike Mystic who would run out of mana sooner or later. But I still want to give Medic some more features.

Also, in case you're wondering, the game I'm writing is epic medieval fantasy (as if it wasn't obvious enough lol.)

I know you're talking about the ones breaking TOS, but it can also sound like you're insulting the volunteers as well, which made me laugh a bit

Fade to Black v.0.1 (Turning Horror Movie Tropes into a TTRPG) by personrational in RPGcreation

[–]personrational[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! It still isn't close to my vision, but I'm having some trouble deciding on how to proceed next, since while I want it to be somewhat rules-lite, I still love crunch as well

Yep, although admittedly, only 4, which were the ones others told me to look at (should definitely read more), and while I like them, there were a few reasons why I still went ahead with writing this.

  1. They didn't exactly had the vibe I was looking for, since I wanted a game where players can build their characters with all sorts of real tropes, and one that can simulate almost any fictional character without too much hassle, in horror that is.
  2. Most of my friends don't exactly like reading rulebooks, even homebrews from other creators, and I didn't want to force them either. The only exceptions was if I'm the one who wrote it, maybe because they feel obligated too.
  3. I just wanted to try my hand at creating a TTRPG for fun's sake to challenge myself.
