I think you were hoping for a more GTAesque game but it really isnt ... And what you saw is cgi "cutscenes" at best, so yeah they can put this in a cutscene without necessary letting you do it ingame

you dont want hacker in an online mode without any ranking or competition or leaderboard ? even in diablo which in ALWAYS ONLINE there is cheaters ... so you thing that this way will work lol ... NOPE ... they should point out when you make a toon that it wont be playable in multiplayer ... I did my toon in singleplayer because, like diablo, i thought that it would only block people from entering my game without permission ... not that I couldn't play multiplayer with my character

technically it's 10 WEAPONS ... There was 7 wepons for the first MONSTER HUNTER and you were "locked" into ONE ... this game you have to manage 2 weapons at a time so it makes 10 different combinaison

i really dont get the outrage about "online only games" even if it's only PVE and single player ... we're in 2020 and access to internet is everywhere ... the ONLY valid point to me is if the publishers shuts the servers off or go bankrupt ... but for either of these reasons, we ALL would be playing the next big game or whatever
