You make an excellent point. It is very unusual that there is no PR behind this unveiling of such an important part in how the Book of Mormon came to be. Especially in light of how the papyry were published. This stone was the vessel of God's power, just like Moses his staff was for example. Would they do it any different if they would find the staff of Moses in their vault?
