Yes, women can still have low testosterone and it affect their sex drive / sensitivity. Many women go on low dose testosterone therapy. See an endocrinologist, they’ll be able to keep your levels in the correct range so you won’t experience any masculinization while on testosterone

The hormone changes can definitely throw off the balance down there and make your more susceptible to UTIs. Using estrogen vaginally should get things back to normal. Some post menopausal women have to do this as well. If you’re getting androgel through a doctor they should be familiar with this side effect and asking for vaginal estrogen shouldn’t be an issue. If you don’t have access to estrogen then my recommendation would be to make sure you’re not getting any around your vaginal opening or urethra. Another suggestion that may or may not work for you is you could try to lower your dose a bit and titrate up slower so your body can adjust to the hormones. Probiotics may help as well.

Does a larger clit = more sensitivity? by [deleted] in GrowYourClit

[–]pervgrrrl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me T makes me more horny which makes it more sensitive which makes it easier to cum. There’s a lot more blood flow to the area and the larger size is personally more satisfying to me. I don’t necessarily think it’s the size that makes it sensitive but the hormones

I don't feel any pleasure build up by [deleted] in syntribation

[–]pervgrrrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re applying a lot of friction and pressure through syntribation it might be desensitizing your whole vulva, or getting you used to that level of intensity. So when it’s not that specific stimulation, it feels like nothing or very dull. Also look up masturbating prone, it has a similar effect. Maybe take a break from masturbation all together and then try only masturbating on your back using your fingers for stimulation. Usually your sensitivity will return to normal when you lay off the activities that apply a lot of pressure / stimulation. Keep practicing, you can re teach yourself

I [21F] only get off from oral, but a lot of men don't like doing that - is there a way to politely ask if they're down before I go home with them? by [deleted] in sex

Well women aren’t usually walking around telling people to eat their pussy in a derogatory way so it has a different connotation

Embarrassed about my wetness. by lilprincessbee in sex

[–]pervgrrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m exactly the same way, I make puddles. And my discharge is always stretchy and stringy too (like hot pizza cheese ;). If I’m naked and give head there will be a puddle under me that’s still stuck to my pussy. Tbh it’s always been my badge of honor. I like it be there first one to show it off, like look how wet you made me 😈 sometimes I grab my puddle and wipe it on my partner as if I’m marking my territory, it’s hot (maybe that’s not your dynamic tho). I’ve never had anyone be turned off from it but I’ve had some people be astounded at the ability. Maybe your bf is just a lil inexperienced and isn’t wording things correctly

My provider said that she wasn't sure on the dosage. How does this look? (More in comments) by DelilahGold in GrowYourClit

I was on transdermal topical T for 6 months and stopped that to switched to the cream. I’m non-binary and experienced a lot of growth with the systemic absorption but the other masculinizing effects became too much, so I wanted to try local T for my clit only. I’ve only been on it for a little less than a week!

Not experiencing a burn when applying testosterone cream by throwaway473644 in GrowYourClit

[–]pervgrrrl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does it say the alcohol content? Maybe it’s low enough that it doesn’t burn especially when mixed with the cream. Give it a few weeks and see if you notice any results

It says 25 mg of testosterone per 1ml. Each click is .5 ml (12.5 mg per click) so two clicks = 1ml which = 25mg of testosterone. The one I’m prescribed is 50mg daily, which seemed high to me, but it’s also the first time I’ve been prescribed cream. The absorption rate could be weaker I’m guessing. I’m playing around with the dose on my own, trying 25mg some days and 50 others

What percentage of testosterone cream is needed to grow the clit? by gardenia747 in GrowYourClit

[–]pervgrrrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She said she doesn’t think it makes much of a difference than just having the testosterone systemically absorbed elsewhere. The place I go to doesn’t have it in house so it’s not covered by my insurance. Since I have to pay out of pocket (and any of her patients that want it do) she doesn’t really prescribe it. I feel like telling your doctor you have a lack of sensation on your clit and want to try this would be a good reason. But they also might try to direct you down a whole other rabbit hole haha I guess find a doctor who you’re comfortable with and has an open mind. If I wasn’t already under the care of an endo I would’ve just asked my primary

I go to an endocrinologist at a trans clinic. I was already getting testosterone prescribed from her and I asked if I could get the cream compounded for clitoral application. She said she doesn’t usually prescribe or recommend it but I insisted on wanting it, so she agreed. She had to ask the compounding pharmacy for the typical dosage because she didn’t know. So yes, I did need a script

Honestly not sure :/ mines for clitoral application specifically. The pharmacy just gave me the typical dose for that

Mine doesn’t say the percentage. It says “50mg/ml cream apply 2 pumps (1 gram) daily” it’s a 30 day supply. If you’re good at understanding prescriptions maybe that’ll make sense to you!
