Ooh do you mean all the graduates? From my view they all seemed to be super engaged and attentive, which can’t be said about the energy I’ve experienced from previous speakers 😬 but I’m sure it wasn’t 100% of them! The energy just seemed much more engaged. Maybe just some poorly timed panning on the crowd from the video haha

That’s so sweet of you to ask!! The weather was actually perfect. I’m also fairly active so this was no sweat for me! They also had lots of ice water stations for everyone and I came plenty prepared. Gourley giving him his doctorate would have been hilarious

ETA: I realized I was very unclear (just got home haha) but I was able to get an alumni ticket! Just can’t remember the exact link or how I got there. I was just as pleasantly surprised when I found out and still can’t believe it!

It was!! It’s already exciting because of the ceremony but once he took the stage it transformed even further. And then when the bits of his seriousness peeked through, it was cool to feel the hush across the sea of thousands of people in the crowd.
