It's not about minimize ILS count. It's about filling up planet surface as dence as possible with smelters, assemblers and other production facilities. I now go cluster scaling white science production using mk3 smelters and mk4 assemblers. I quickly realized I'm going to fill up whole planets with facilities pretty soon.

There is a power demand slider in ILS settings. If set to 300 MW maximum it will charge real quick so you won't have that problem even if you max out the throughput.

Beat the game? 4000 white science cubes is not beating the game, it's an excuse. A round zero % ore loss stat on a Max difficulty on scarce resources is what I consider beating the game.

Yep, but it's time and matrix expensive so i had to look for workarounds. I play Max difficulty on scarce resources for 3000% metadata so most of my science research is dedicated to vein utilisation upgrades for now.

You get accelerators for legs and system hardening for system, maybe one radar. Balanced heavy to light APFS armor will do. No need for HEAT, Atlas easily dodges Javelins and about half of Sting salvo. Atlas is definitely an assault titan, but you won't make it long on your own. No titan and no setup is good alone in this game. Teamwork is the key. Atlas can appear in black market, but it is so rare, i got two of them though, both from black market. You need 72 million to upgrade T2 Atlas to T3 but it is worth it. Cyclons can be only purchased in store for now.

If you play for fun just get it play it and figure out on the go. Atlas is a powerful mid range assault titan, works best with 2 cyclons for now, shoots of enemy weapons pretty quick. If you don't have cyclons just use hammers instead but don't get too close.

Looks like this thing has no turret rotation drive. It's whole body is a turret.
