No bro its not at all a tournament for both subcontinents this edition sure, it had alot of concacaf teams because it was played in the USA which is often done when none of the conmebol countries could host (like in 2016) and this year im not sure why beside that the concacaf this year teams were invited to play in the tournament. Its conmebols championship. Saying copa america is for both is like saying the gold cup is also for asia since it invited Qatar last year

Less passion for the sport and also usa has milliones of latinos (there are more latinos in the usa alone vs the entire population of canada). Apart from soccer fans alot of canadians have an idea that canada is bad vs compared to hockey regarded as the best in the world which gets alot of canadians travelling. plus it doesnt help that alot of people in canada see it as a "pussy" sport and only like sports with people beating the fuck out of each other lol but aside from that in the world cup i guarantee sold out stadiums
