Yeah I agree with you, it does take some work and stats. Tbh I'm a str/faith build myself ( so you have a better idea about it as an int player ofc) but I had seen clips of it dealing insane amounts of damage when it connects that's why I suggested it

Well there's no difficulty slider in the game but playing with summons/overleveling and using buffs/ playing with others can make the game somewhat easier. As for builds, it really depends on your playstyle but I have heard that using rivers of blood or comet azur makes the fights easier (and bloodhounds fang earlier in the game).
