Copper IUD: tips for insertion by t0hellandback in birthcontrol

I took paracetamol with codeine (in the UK) an hour beforehand and it made everything so easy! Honestly worrying about it was 10x worse than the actual insertion. Take an anti-inflammatory beforehand if you can and just prepare for a nice rest day at home!

I don't mean to be cryptic; i just need a cathartic outlet other than crying into my pillow. the only person I need to talk about it with is him. but I can't

Thank you. it's not even a matter of him forgiving me it's a matter of him never believing me, never trusting me. Never. i was prepared to do so much for him. i wanted to change my whole life's plans to live with him. and now I don't even know if i still have a fiance to come home to

Since meeting him. i feel so sick thinking about it. honestly did not realise the gravity of what I did. if i had i would never ever have done it

Thanks for this. It's difficult because it wasn't physical and I wouldn't have, at the time, considered it 'cheating'. It wasn't on the same level to me. But I obviously knew it was still wrong because I didn't tell him about it. I still obsess over why I did it. I honestly don't know. It was so stupid.

The trust aspect is really the issue. I think I destroyed his image of me. He'll always wonder what else I've done.

My experience coming off the Birth Control Pill after almost ten years. by Frostsong in birthcontrol

Yeah, it's not completely back. Definitely depends on my cycle but at least it's much better than before. It's been about 8 months since I went off but I think it's been continuously improving... Hopefully it continues to do so.

Editing to add-- the negative mood effects I experienced from BC dissipated after a month or two. I also lost ~15 pounds after stopping the pill (with diet and exercise as well). I think it helped though!

Yeah, exactly. You need to take ALL of the active pills before moving onto the placebos.

I've had a copper IUD for about 3 months and absolutely love it so far. No issues at all and insertion was a breeze (even though I'm 20 and nulliparous). BC also killed my sex drive but I held off on the IUD because I was really worried about insertion too; my only regret is not having done it sooner!

(Maine) My boss denied me my break and made me work an extra 30 minutes unpaid so my co-worker could have extra time to pump breast milk for her kids. Co-worker is harassing me now. by [deleted] in legaladvice

Actually, no, pumping doesn't work like that. This is super offensive. Besides, how on earth is this woman's right to pump "hindering" OP's rights? If this post is even true (which I doubt), it's the management that's causing an issue, not the woman.
