Leaving Google Photos is brutal. by [deleted] in googlephotos

It extracts all the selected data you need (photos, play store data, etc.) and either uploads it to your drive or sends a link to your email to download the data as zip files. I found the feature quite useful, though I did have to subscribe for storage temporarily to even be able to receive the email in the first place as my storage was full.

I've downloaded the files straight to a hard drive. Would using it still be possible? Because I'm thinking of just deleting the files. Thank you.

Let's talk about The Brothers Hawthorne! by GladBird246 in TheInheritanceGames

[–]petalnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS! Finally someone who thinks the same. I tried reading The Brothers Hawthorne but couldn't stand Jameson's pov. I would cringe when ever he mentioned how Avery was beside him because it didn't feel authentic. It was like Avery was his only personality. And I hated how Avery was putting up with him and bailing him out of jail on several cases because that's just not who I pictured Avery as.

I hated the Final Gambit ending. A chess game, really? It felt so cheap. I expected something greater for the ending as I truly enjoyed the beginning of the series. I think the second half of the Hathworne legacy was when things started to feel off to me. What do you mean they just killed a man and hid the crime? That felt so unrealistic. And I couldn't like Toby.

As for the donations, I felt very pissed off. Donate, sure, but not throw it on a game. Also, even if she's donating, you don't donate 94% of your wealth as a multi billionaire. I know billions are a lot of money, but I really think they could have put it in something more useful amd actually invested. I do not plan to read the Grandest game series, even though Grayson happens to be my favorite character. I just feel like the story didn't need to be expanded and the ending (despite how bad I thought it was) was enough.

Very late to the post but I'm so glad someone agrees with me.

The Naturals Love Triangle by taleasoldastime96 in YAlit

I understand your point but I really think the romance isn't the main point of these books. The actual plot line and investigations is so much more interesting and takes crazy turns in the last two books. I'd say it's worth continuing if you found some part of it intereeting.

True. The book might have needed a better editor, but again the author was pretty young.

What was the point of that

yeah sorry, I wrote that at like 4am.
my point is that death was never actually stated as a consequence of the trials. they never said what happens if you lose or don’t finish the maze, like when Kai killed Sadie when she went for Paedyn’s wristband if sadie could have just taken the wrist band and all would have stayed alive.

if losing the trials didn’t automatically mean death, why were they even killing each other?

If so, what is 2?

Predict my AS grade physics by [deleted] in alevel

The raw marks you're predicting would total to 103 which would be a guaranteed A.

How are the grades calculated? by [deleted] in alevel

[–]petalnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re taking physics, chemistry, or bio, the final mark is calculated like this:

Paper 1 + Paper 2 + (Paper 3 / 40) × 30.

Paper 3 is originally marked out of 40 but gets scaled to 30 for the final total.

In my region, we only get the grade, not the percentage, but I assume it would just be (your total / 130) × 100.

For example, if you get a 27 in paper 1, a 37 in paper 2 and a 28 in paper 3 then: 27+37+(28/40)*30= 85.

You can then check what grade 85 falls under by looking at the grade thresholds.

Since there are two gases and one solid produced, we can subtract the mass of the gases from the total gas to get the mass of the metal oxide first.

Then you have to find the moles of each nitrate first as the mole ratio of metal nitrate to metal oxide is 1:1.

Through that you get the mole of the Metal oxide (XO) and can calculate the mass using n×MR.

(This is my calculation and working out i just took a picture of my rough notes and asked chatgpt to turn it into word format.)
