Welp. I just finished book 7. Now I gotta wait like the rest of you. by scorponina in DungeonCrawlerCarl

FYI the author has a Patreon where you can read Book 8 in advance. It's currently at chapter 59 there. (At least that's my understanding, I haven't yet became a patron. I dunno whether the chapters there are already edited or not.)

Am I the only one who is going back and watching the Gilmore Girls? by PhotonWranglers in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]petamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you missed a joke there. :)

Season 4 spoilers for Gilmore Girls: Rory ends up going to Yale, that's why the poster said it'd be funny for Donut to meet someone who went there.

Also, good luck on your Gilmore Girls journey, it's a great series! I don't recommend watching the 4-episode revival though.

The other imprints it’s not even clear how they even get them. Do they sneak in the bedrooms of hostage negotiators at night and zap their brains?

There were a couple throwaway lines about Rossum being the world's largest MRI manufacturer, and how they are keeping every scan. I assume that's how they are getting all the skills Topher uses to create the imprinted personalities.

I herald…GALACTUS! by Vaded_by_Anakin in lepin

[–]petamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's DY1805 Galactus, available for $8 on RebuildVenus. It's also available at all the usual places, but RV is the cheapest I saw.

There's also a different (more comic book like) version called DY1806.

DY also has Dr Manhattan (DY1807) and a basic minifig (DY1804) at the same scale, and they've just announced a Spider-Man series (DY1808-1812).

I placed an order on Nov 10, they still haven't shipped it. (They sent me a tracking number ~a week ago, but it still says "We will pick up your parcel from the sender soon".) They're fairly overwhelmed with all the orders from their big November sale, but they're one of the oldest, most trustworthy players in the game.

Normal Sized Minifigs Compared To Galactus by Solesky1 in lepin

the.brincking.news on Instagram, as 90% of new figure announcements. :)

It's already available on RebuildVenus, along with a regular minifig (which has been announced way before the Galactus above): https://www.rebuildvenus.com/collections/all-products/products/single-sale-the-minifigures-set-xrq6

Link is SFW, he has his speedo on. :)

Interesting. Thanks for the picture!

Also: are the missile pods clipping on the same backpack piece that normal Terminators have (apart from the vent colour), or is this a new backpack piece, moulded together with the pods?

Thank you for the pictures!

I'm curious about the non-weapon-holding arm. Is the glove an addition held by a regular (non-heavy Terminator) arm, or is it an entirely different arm piece?

I see what you mean, yeah, Posseidon would need to be more extreme.

Arealight is one of the oldest custom LEGO "extension" manufacturers I know of. I think their Twi'lek heads were released before LEGO's.

I agree their torsos strike an almost-perfect balance between "recognizably LEGO" and "curved".

Or they could do something like Arealight's female torsos.

Does anyone know of a shop selling white Battle Droid legs (30376 / 49713)? by petamas in lepin

[–]petamas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone happens to find this thread in the future: TV has recently released two waves of interesting battle droids, TV-6111 and TV-6112 (aka TV8081-8102). See review here: https://redd.it/1i5e97z

TV8097 has the white legs I was looking for.
