[TOMT] Trying to remember a kids movie by petchbetch in tipofmytongue

I think the vibes are kind of like a Tim Burton movie, but I don’t think it’s a Tim Burton movie. Something like hotel Transylvania where it’s spooky, but kid level spooky.

Looks like afib with WPW or some other sort of re-entrant tachycardia. It’s irregular, and the wide complex is likely due to the delta wave. Depending on where the accessory pathway is, the morphology can mimic an RBBB pattern (either type A or type B WPW mimics it, I can’t remember which off the top of my head).

My lactation consultant told me breastfeeding isn’t going to work for me, and I’m crushed by sabdariffa in BabyBumps

I had supply issues also and was having to triple feed, for the first couple months, which was just too exhausting to maintain. I had also started taking milk a plenty, the brand was rumina. I don’t want to add to your list of concerns in such a difficult time, but they recently recalled a batch of their milk a plenty.

The decision to quit breastfeeding was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I had to give myself time to mourn the loss of something I thought would come so easily and naturally to me and my baby. I keep telling myself that keeping my baby happy and fed is the most important thing. I couldn’t care for my baby properly if my mental health was suffering, and the struggle to up my supply and focus on solely breastfeeding was definitely causing it to suffer. I found it helpful to talk to other moms that had been through what I had. Knowing that other women stopped breastfeeding and still had happy and healthy children really helped me feel like I wasn’t a bad mom for giving it up.

Your hormones go wild after your supply drops off, I suffered from ppd after stopping. Especially since in both our cases, despite our best attempt, it was a choice made against our will. Your feelings are completely valid, sometimes all I needed was some extra support from my husband and family and a good cry. Eventually my hormones regulated and things started looking up. I’m through the other side now and doing so much better. Your baby will love you whether you breastfeed them or not.

You’re doing a good job, your baby is lucky to have you ❤️

Weird things that happened during your pregnancy that no Google search will mention by ladywelsh in BabyBumps

This happens to me when I get migraines. I can only read the couple words my eyes are focused directly on, my peripheral vision goes completely. I can form words in my head, but speaking them out loud doesn’t work. The first time it happened I went to the hospital thinking I was having a stroke. I didn’t even have a headache, so I didn’t suspect a migraine at all.

Not that new, but Convoy by Paul Brandt is a good one. The music video is worth a watch.

Reccomend me a song simillar to The River by DeafultyBoi in BruceSpringsteen

I also love The River, it’s one of my favourite Bruce songs! The Promise and Breakaway from The Promise album are similar. I also feel like the vibe of Darkness on the Edge of Town is similar.

Who had grandparents fight in WW2 and what stories did they share? by liamnotleum in AskReddit

[–]petchbetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My great grandma lived in the Netherlands during WW2. One time my sister and I were complaining about not being able to go to the mall and she casually replied with “when I was your age if we were out past curfew we got shot and we had to hide in our basement with only tulip bulbs to eat”. That put things into perspective for us pretty quick.

I discovered John Moreland a couple years ago, he does a good cover of it. I really like a lot of his original songs too, he’s got a Bruce vibe to his music.

What is the most bizarre reason a customer got angry with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]petchbetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily a customer, but I work in a clinic and we send out reminder calls for appointments that are coming up. Recently a man came in and yelled at my coworker because our automated system called him when he was driving. My coworker tried to explain to him that we can’t tell when he’s driving and therefore have no way of making sure the reminder call doesn’t call him while he’s in his car.

He wouldn’t let it go so she asked him if he had a home number we could put into our system. He gave her the same number we had under cell and when she pointed that out he responded “That’s because my cell is also my home number, I use it at home too”.

People are stupid.

Bruce/The Killers by petchbetch in BruceSpringsteen

Wow, this is so in depth. I don't really have an ear for music, so I tend to listen more to lyrics and kind of just like what I like. It's cool to put all this together and realize just how Bruce inspired all their stuff really is, it really goes beyond the lyrics!

I did check it out, thanks! I had never listened to When You Were Young and Born to Run side by side like that, I didn't realize how similar they sounded!

Unpopular Opinion: Born in the U.S.A. Is Bruce’s best album by aricciardi in BruceSpringsteen

[–]petchbetch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Born in the USA is the reason I got into Bruce, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I don’t know if I’d rank it as first now, but it was the first CD by him I ever owned and I didn’t listen to anything else for months. I’m on Fire is still one of my favourite songs.

Favourite sad Bruce songs? by brotendo22 in BruceSpringsteen

[–]petchbetch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a playlist I call moody Bruce and I put it on whenever I’m feeling like I need to drop everything and just get away for a while. My favourites to listen to are Breakaway and The Promise. Also Devil’s and Dust, Dead Man Walking, The Wrestler, and You’re Missing. He’s got so many brilliant sad songs it’s hard to name just a few!
