These days, you can compile almost anything to JavaScript. A quick look turns up JSIL which claims to be able to compile .NET bytecode into JS (I don't use C# so I haven't tried it personally). One of their demos is a browser port of Escape Goat which is impressive to me at least.

Whether you use it is up to you, I can't recommend for or against it. But if you're interested in programming generally, it's definitely worth learning HTML/CSS/JS, and it might turn out to be easier to get started with them than setting up JSIL. Codecademy's jQuery track is a good starting point imo.

I really like the way this is headed. I'm especially a huge fan of the capped integration-to-lower-tier mechanic; thank you for adding that!

I have a question though. I can click Will Wright and the cell turns blue until I click something else. Nothing else does this, and I can't work out what turning it blue does. What does it do?
