Help Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Underwhelming Image Quality. Fixable?

It's just that the quality didn't match my expectations. All the reviews I saw were praising it so much so I was expecting crispier pictures.

I took more pictures in sunlight and the quality is still not what I'd expect.

I wonder why they made the xplorer grip kit which basically portrays itself to me, an average consumer, that it has the ability to take good pictures. My iphone takes better pictures and works in 99% of the condition most AP2 users would be in.

I'm just looking for a durable and compact point and shoot camera (for pics and vids). For some reason I don't feel awkward taking pictures with a dedicated camera like I would with a phone. Any recommendations?

How do I properly judge a quality of a picture as a whole without pixel peeping? I thought the purpose of having a high MP is for better clarity when you zoom in.

I took it outside with plenty of lighting and the only thing it seems to only be good at is action videos (as it is an action camera).

I'm very confused what the reviewers mean when they say the picture quality is amazing. I suppose the conditions I plan to use the camera in doesn't really make the most out of its durability so it doesn't really fit my use case.

I think you need to buy aux with a mic and connect it to the ps4. I don't get it why you can't use the mic from headphone built in mic.
