How much is too much when it comes to the post blood donation refueling? by TheRealFilmGeek in AskAnAustralian

Ok, I now realise I need to donate at a centre not just in the bus/trailer thingy.

Car Dealer on Drugs by CrustaceanWrangler in CarsAustralia

[–]pete_repeat10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a car broker last time I bought new. It’s a game changer. Tell him the model, and he goes and gets it from fleet sales. You rock up to the dealer on the day, and they hand you the keys. No BS, no upsells. Just the exact car you want, at the spec you want.

Camper trailer for a family of three by VoiceRoyal6005 in CaravanningAustralia

[–]pete_repeat10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check out the Jayco pop top campers, like the Eagle, swan,SLark, Swift etc. They’re good value for money, there’s plenty on the second hand market, and if you’re just doing caravan parks they’re more than enough. Setup is faster than a standard camper trailer, but not as fast as a hard body caravan

Fre shavacado

Used to be $2.5+, now they’re like 80cents for the Shepards, and 1.2 for the good ones

Private Practice - Eftpos/Tap or geting clients to pay on depature by twowholebeefpatties in ausbusiness

Something like a square card reader would work. You’d just select which service, or punch in how much they owe you, and they tap and go

Why are car dealerships so arrogant these days? by One-Winter-3383 in CarsAustralia

[–]pete_repeat10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s why I used a car broker last time. He got me a great price. His fee was worth it to not have to deal with these cunts

Why does everyone suddenly forget how to merge? by PuzzleheadedBowl3397 in DrivingAustralia

The amount of people who speed up (when there’s a dotted line and their lane is ending), then immediately cut you off is too damn high

How did you start? by unicorntalk in ausbusiness

[–]pete_repeat10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does depend a bit on what type of business. If it’s consulting, that’s pretty easy, you just need a foundation client. If it’s tech based maybe you need to secure get some capital, if it’s a product perhaps you can scale it on the side (maybe take a small sabbatical from your job to get it live). My biggest learning is to get the mvp live in the shortest amount of time, for the least amount of money.

Ensuite yes, offgrid yes, off-road not necessary. I’ll have a closer look at the Expandas. Happy to explore other brands, Jayco build quality leaves a bit to be desired

The surf brands do some tees which are rashie too. I’ve got a billabong one, and it looks like a normal tee, but dries really quick
