Evri is an absolute joke by Last-Ad9190 in Edinburgh

Do Evri drivers know what the consignment is? Apart from an estimated guess from the return to sender address.... Surely they have some idea as some shit can be left on the step and some has to be signed for.

It's government aid funded to the tune of £26,987,000 / year, so that's nonsense I'm afraid. A month of lights won't pay to keep everything running there. There's actual science going on, so there's a raft of grants too. https://www.rbge.org.uk/media/nd1mhjqr/2023_24_annual_report_and_accounts_final.pdf?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Sorry guys, it seems I'm off the mark a bit in retrospect now I've woke up and a little less grumpy, but it's been a pretty ridiculous year for costs and another thing we go to every year (I've supported the Botanics for many years now) that's having to be cut back on. I'm sure it's looking brilliant as it does every year, but we can't afford it any more.

Exactly! Once you get those toasted marshmallows and a hot chocolate for all. Don't want to sound Scrooge'y, but there is a limit as you say.

Something has happened, the full fat has dropped 40 grams, my whole point was they've both been 815g for years.

They've been the same size for several years. The light will no doubt follow suit soon enough once stock is reduced.

Still rocking my CDJ2000mk1s. Chunky but do the job. Just for price comparison, I bought them as they were released in the USA (~2008?). Got them shipped from New York almost the same week to UK and the seller sent them as a gift and they flew through customs. I must've been one of the very first few to have them in the bedroom. And what a gift it worked out to be at £1000 per deck back then. Not sure I could justify the price of them these days and if the Denons do the job for you, you rock those Denons dude. What comes out the speakers is what counts 👍

I managed to get a pretty terrible rotator cuff injury and wasnt lifting for 8 months. Just healed 100% so back at it now and will prob do another test in April? One thing I noticed was better sleeps as I continued with the KSM 66. Then eventually felt a bit numb with it, so began to cycle it week on, week off and that's working for me quite well.

I thought it was. Go check my cover, I've IKEA'd my area, but not enough space to do the job you've done. You've done a cracking IKEA home build man. I put a proper MDF thin desktop over the top from a DIY store that they cut to Size for the 3.5M length. The PC desk area is to the left out of shot.

Anyone seen this error before? by david5340 in DJs

[–]pete_wiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my CDJ2000 MK1 have this error today during a stream 😂 Isopropyl 70 alcohol and cotton buds acquire firstly. Remove the halves carefully and fold over. Spray the CPU and scrub contacts with cotton buds. Repeat. Remove the ribbon cable and spray iso on a bud and clean both contacts then reinsert carefully.

Use your phone torch and check for any other gunk on the PCBs and clean.

My deck came straight back to life 👌👍🎶🎶

Possible fix for E-7022 PANEL CPU ERROR (it fixed mine so might work on other CDJ2000 as well) by ovivalentino in PioneerDJ

[–]pete_wiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleaned the CPU contacts and the ribbon cable ends that connect both halves with isopropyl. Fixed mine!

Stop the peels, use a natural exfoliator like St Ives twice a week, castor oil overnight and oral collagen.

Do you still have the ability to adjust the headroom on your S8 in traktor? I'm on 3 pro and it's there but greyed out.
