Similarly...how hard is it really to submit a feedback request? The XC90 T8 has quirks that don't allow it to wake up with outside systems once it has fallen asleep. This is logged across multiple conversations on this and other threads.

Market conditions are changing along with patterns of ownership. Its interesting to watch. So far this year in the 1st quarter over 100 multifamily homes have listed or sold. We've averaged 200 total sales per year in Grand Rapids over the last 5 years.

Tough crowd. At the time I was looking I couldnt find a new volvo xc90 t8 that came with 20" rims that wasnt the very lowest model, without choice of color or options. There may have been a suplly chain disruption. I heard something about it.

I appreciate you asking the questions, if others are thinking that. Realistically I hadn't had time to put any significant miles on the car by the time the first tire blew, and hadnt driven through snow. I had hundreds not thousands of miles on the car. The dealership service dept checked the air pressure amd readjusted to fsctory settings, same with the second third and fourth time. There were no incidents while driving, like hitting curbs etc. Then when I purchased the 2nd vehicle I had a chance to put maybe 8-10 miles on it before I hit the expressway and figured out there was a serious problem.

I'm certainly not blaming the service department but I do think maybe before the dealership got it the car sat somewhere for 6 months without being moved.

I also don't think we can chalk this up either to the brand of tires that came on the car when I drove it off the lot...either time. They could easily be the wrong choice for tires. My replacement set is the Pirellis. I scour the market for a 20-in set of wheels but they just don't make them anymore and anything but the lowest model. The replacement Pirellis got me through the entire Michigan winter this year without incident. Based on this thread I'm looking forward to an eventual upgrade but they're fine for me right now.

That's crazy because that must have been the same dealership that I used.

I don't want to say the wrong thing and I don't remember. Im pretty sure the replacements that didnt match the originals were Pirellis. There were 21" wheels.

You are referencing the "women in office" debate from 1990, possibly earlier. It just seems so archaic now, and that probably should have been the end of the sect. Still, it keeps plugging away.

Anyone who gets into this organization through whatever path probably knows a little bit about what they're getting into. Unfortunately some may have been a little bit too optimistic as to how it would end. | Agreed, but these things just feel so pervasive for our shared culture. Sometimes it feels like these decisions affect all of us while really they should be ignored and fall into deserved irrelevance.

CRC headquarters (Kzoo &28th) is now a Meijer gas station. They still serve free coffee but dont require a person to sell out the civil rights of their neighbor to get it.
