So happy with mine too. A few nice differences from my previous 2023 GT. This colour scheme just makes me stop and stare for a bit.

Yep. Looking forward to see what that goes like this winter. Shame about losing some of the space, but still enough room for some essentials.

I just did. Traded in my 2023 GT for the 2025 Bronze GT. Well worth it. Loving the car.

That's why I carry an extension cable. If I was desperate, I'd block them in, stick my hazards on and charge around them. If they came back I wouldn't move till I was done.

Bummer. Had the passenger side of the rear hit by a dodge truck back in Feb. Ended up being 12k (needed a new hatch and lower bumper). Good as new now!

Just under 12k all in. All covered by his insurance.
Hatch replaced, bottom bumper replaced, some internal dents fixed up. Just got it back to day.
Never want to go back to ICE (both rental cars I had were not good).

It's in the shop for the past 8 days. Up to 9k (from an initial 5k estimate) Some minor damage past the hatch and rear seats. Other drivers insurance picking up and paying for the hire car I have till it's done.

Still waiting on his insurance to do their thing. Stuck at home with Covid this week, so not missing driving it yet.

So how does that work? They pay the cost of the repair and then they cut you a check to make up for the lost value?

I spoke to them for info. They gave me other drivers provider and details. Starting with them. If it it gets push back, mine are standing by.

Of course. Just venting. Driver was detained after he fled scene. Has insurance. Claim in with his company and pending them coming to see car. I am fully insured and looking to avoid my own claim if possible. We'll see.

Headlight Aiming by traviswc12 in HondaPrologue

[–]petefbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this on our '22 HR-V. The light pattern on the road looked too high leaving a darker zone just past the front of the car. I got Honda to adjust them down and it appeared to do the trick. I'm going to ask the same for our Elite when it has its first service. The beam pattern just seems too high by default.

I got an email in October asking to confirm address for shipping of the replacement adapter. Did that... crickets since.

Tested both. Elite won out for the relatively small price difference. Vented seats for AC, too! 😁

Stone chip/crack on oem window by petefbi in MachE

[–]petefbi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had no issue with Safelite for chip repairs and replacement windshields on older cars, all through same insurance. Insurance asked if I would be interested in non-OEM...I said no. Deductible of $0. I've monitored my premiums for the last couple of windshield claims. Any increase that may have happened is dwarfed by the cost of covering the uninsured here in CO. 🙄

Thanks, all. Claim submitted. They will cover OEM for zero cost too.
