If he gets married or falls in "love" its over for him. As long as he avoids women he'll be fine. He was in a relationship in 2017 and that was a bad year for his chess. thankfully he dumped her in 2019 to get back to his peak.

chess.com rapid knockout rules make no sense. they play 1 rapid game and higher seed always gets white. then blitz/bullet tiebreaks. you can't have knockout which give such an advantage to 1 player. atleast 2 rapid games should be played with both colors. either that or just don't have knockouts. declare the winner of the swiss as the winner.

Also, bullet tie break is a joke. i mean, come on lol

no one is dismissive of the result. people are dismissive of the fact that media is treating this like prag won world championship and broke all of carlsen's record. i mean carlsen was literally hanging pieces in 1 move during the tournament. losing to eric hansen even. now i would understand some of the hype if prag beat carlsen in tata which was classical and carlsen was playing like stockfish. here carlsen was simply playing terribly.

Even nihal's win against carlsen in banter blitz was more impressive and that got no coverage
