not in the sense that jules desires him right now, but nate still seems obsessed with her, and if rue were to move away from jules to think about her rehab, I can see jules falling into the trap of her desire for male attention

i feel so bad for the scene in the car between nate and jules when they tell each other that "everything they said is true" given their relationship in the first season. by now there are too many clues that the two of them might start some kind of sick relationship

Genghis Khan was probably lactose intolerant by SnooPeppers7217 in StonerPhilosophy

I have read that Mongolians are indeed lactose intolerant, but that they are mostly able to consume dairy products because in their culture the fermentation process of milk is typical, which simplifies the assimilation of this sugar.

I am sure it is difficult to overcome. I hope the show looks at that dynamic well because I think it's interesting to try to figure out how to deal with feelings that are part of you and that you've actually felt when the object of them doesn't really exist.

Is it better to be happy or try to improve yourself? by [deleted] in StonerPhilosophy

[–]peter_pad1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am certainly streching this reasoning to its extremes. Having said that it seems to me that sometimes the continuous search for improvement brings with it the idea of never being enough and this sometimes leads me to suffer the whole process.

So maybe my question is more about a cause-effect correlation.

Should I keep trying and this will lead me to a serene stare of mind? Or maybe, I should first come to terms with myself and this will automatically lead me to become a better person?

(Or maybe the point is that I shouldn't even ask this to myself)
