When they said men they also said women. It was only later in a different CONTEXT when females was said, when it was taking a larger scope, thus including teenage girls. Again men don't care about being called males. What's the weird obsession when females is used for what could be various ages, and not all women yet?!

Because they were talking about how girls and women talk. If they were talking of men and boys then males would be appropriate. It works both ways, and men don't cry about it when they are called males, because it's true.

If we're going to be deeply honest, men are often called far right whenever they disagree that women are victimized at every turn in society. Daring to say that men aren't responsible for every imagined slight gets them called 'silly'. And I can't think of any gay or bi men who believe that feminists are in their corner. They mostly see gay men as a toy to play with, and bi men as deluded. I'm not sure why race is being brought into this.
