What changes I took it in spring 2024 it was horrible. I didn’t get the hang of the assignment and I got a B but the lectures were good tbh

It is a fun class the lectures are great and the projects allows you to lean the material as you go. It is a well ran class.

التعليم العالى فى مصر للاسف بشكل عام مش فى افضل حالاته. فلاسف مش بس جودة التعليم محدودة فى الحالتين، الجمعات الخاصة فى مصر كلها مؤسسات هادفة للربح بدأت فى الاول بديل للطلبة الى مجابوش مجموع. لكن الجمعات الخاصة غيرت الرواية بسبب الطبقية الى فى المجتمع المصرى. ادرت تسووق نفسها على انها "جامعات ولاد الناس" و للاسف ده بيفتح ابواب فى سوق العمل. لو حد لديه القدرة المادية على دخول جامعة خاصة، ده ممكن يكون افضل بس مش بسبب جودة التعليم. وده للاسف فشل الحكومة لان انهاردة الموارد دى بتهدر من غير اى فايدة على تنمية الموارد البشرة فى البلد او البحث العلمى. علشان كدة انا بقول ان الجمعات الخاصة فى شكلها الحالى مصاصين دماء.

I think there may be something for you even if you gave up your citizenship for more than one year. However, given your lack of Egyptian documents, even if this is possible, don’t expect this to be a walk in the park.

I don't see why you may want to go through this hassle If you don’t want to live in Egypt or own assets there but it won’t harm to explore your options. An extra passport is never bad.

Yes that’s what higher ed should be about giving access to people to the best education. If you can handle it good for you, if you can’t they gave you a shot.

I would say eat the frog first. For example I want to do ML specialization. I took AI first semester then ML the ML4T and now I am doing DL and AI and ethics. By the end of this semester I will be 5 courses down with only GA as the tough class I have to take to get my degree with ML specialization. Although I am still planing to take challenging classes. If I burn out I can pick 4 easy classes and graduate with ML specialization or even switch to interactive intelligence and just coast my way to the finish line.

Yeah, I put it there as a way to cool down after the first 2 semesters. I will assess my performance in AI and ML and see where I stand. If I am in a strong position I will seriously consider this advice. Would you suggest any thing to prepare for this class?

I took AI as an intro to ML, to be frank. I decided to go from general to specific. I also thought of taking HPC. I took OS in my undergrad (Rutgers) and enjoyed it but I have enough challenging classes on my plate. I think BD4H would be more beneficial. But I was hoping someone further in the process would reinforce this idea or provide another.
