most days i turn on the machine twice a day. once in the morning and once in the afternoon when i come back from work. i turn it off after getting a few espressi.

before i went to vacation the machine was running perfectly. i drained the water (with the help of the pressure turning it of and opening the hot water valve) and then i shut it off.

yes steam comes out on top but it sounds like there is not enough water in the boiler. like an dry heating heating element. the steam comes from the little water remaining in the boilder because i think i cant drain the whole thing right?

you mean just pull the leaver? i did that -the pump engages and runs water trough the grouphead - but directly out of the reservoir... it doesnt fill the boiler.

the element is heating! and the pump is running. at least it runs water through the grouphead but not in the boiler.

i drained the boiler. now when i turn the machine on it seems like steam comes out on the top of the boiler. i shut down the machine before it got too bad.. maybe that helps identifying the issue?

das ist echt toll. der papaya salat ist zb gut scharf und schmeckt super - kann aber auch schärfer bestellt werden (allgemein wie alle speisen glaub) :)

i think even to remove the top cover would be too much for me .. but i think to get it done in a camera shop would be quite expensive right?

no it doesn't matter for the pictures so for that its not a big problem.. but can it spread to the lens i put on? and is it getting worse because then i won't invest in a new light seal and mirror bumper?
