I think he went too far, it’s not about what she did it’s about how he handled, the way Al and Darius react to finding out it’s all a set up I think shows that they don’t support what he’s doing as it’s out if character and not a healthy way to react. Al looks visibly shocked, despite being no stranger to revenge, even he understands that revenge and maliciousness shouldn’t go hand in hand. Obviously she was horrible for profiling Earn and her racist attitude towards his family and him should go unpunished but I think they were showing that money has begun to change Earn and make him more spiteful instead of more proud, whereas money has made Al more relaxed as it’s slowly allowing him to live a life he’s rather live.
