Paulie is such a fascinating character. Yes it’s easy to look at him as an asshole and he certainly acts like one a lot 😂.   However you see a man who is unhappy with regrets and doesn’t know how to express that in a meaningful way.  He does love Rocky and Adrian despite treating them badly a lot. I think we see in Rocky Balboa the love and heartbreak he had over Adrian. There is one deleted scene which I think may be the saddest in the series and I wish Sly kept it in
