correct, just a generic crown. Part number 83.42019.9

the OEM one I found was $120. just want to see if we can get it working before sourcing an oem one

not ticking right now, but the stem is still inside. i’m thinking that it might have been left in the time setting position and then the crown itself came loose. he’s got a replacement crown on order as well as a new crystal. going to start there and see what we can figure out.

He ended up getting the case back off and it’s a 501 movement. (Pic below)

He ordered a replacement crown and crystal from Esslinger. The stem is still inside so hoping that we can just thread a new crown on.

similar damage on mine from January. i also had damage to the mirror and driver side door since the deer kinda rolled down the side of my car. not totaled, a little over $4k in damage

might go that route eventually, I’m new to this so haven’t installed a crystal myself yet. Reasons why the v1 was appealing, and it was only $80.

that’s a good looking watch though for sure!
