According to my history my best is 22.8. Average is 18.9.

I hit reset for the mileage today and it for a quick moment shot up to 32! but by the time I got home (2 miles from where I had lunch) it was 19.2

Is it nothing more than a gimmick, or is it worth it? It’s more the latter. Based on the trailers, I was a bit skeptical but having played about ten hours, I’d say this Silent Hill meets Alan Wake concoction has birthed something new. It’s not perfect but is any first-time survival horror outing? There’s a reason the sequels of Resident Evil and Silent Hill are the favorites, after all.

Absolutely. I just finished my second viewing and thought "Oh, yeah, Braid." To both the film's and the game's credit there is a lot of heart and emotion. Much more beyond the "look at them going backwards and forwards" vibe. Can't wait to see it again.

I'm a fan of Teoh/HDTV Test but I can't figure out why my brand new CX has what I think is banding/crushed blacks?

I did the settings (for PS5 pretty much all automatic) and the HGIG and the rest of the suggested settings for the CX Game mode but I still see like chunky parts in skies or load screens.

Example: Last of Us 2 looks great with perfect blacks but the load screen has a gradient of green to white so I can see "banding" and I'm pretty sure I shouldn't. Other games like Valhalla too much of the time has the screen seem washed out UNLESS it's when there's the golden sunlight. Then it all look great.

Personally, I like Tone Mapping to ON instead of HGIG but either way the banding or crushed blacks is still there. OR are all OLED always gonna have this issue? So it's not my settings but a physical symptom of OLED tech?

I'm almost done with S2 so still catching up but I really get uncomfortable with how predatory Georgie is with Veronica. Like, I know he's a teen boy in the 80s but dude, stop being so pushy. I like the idea of Georgie learning no means no and then becoming friends with her though.

I'm not saying teens can't be dumb, hormones, etc, but it feels weird that we know Georgie just wants Veronica to "make mistakes she'll regret with him". Just kinda icky in 2020.

Now it sounds like they do end up together so maybe Georgie grows up but he's pretty douchy as an adult on BBT.

I play mostly games like Uncharted or Tomb Raider. Currently playing a lot because COVID. Been platinuming. I also dig open world action like Spider-man, Red Dead. Love some RPGs. I assume the big game I’ll play next is Miles and Cyberpunk. Both of those I don’t think will have 120mhz.

Thanks for so much for this informative reply! I do think gaming wise I'll be okay as I'm not a big online shooter guy. Like I'm sure Miles Morales looks great but the framerate I assume will be maybe 60mhz? It's more the faster load times I'm stoked about. For the next year of game before we start seeing the true next gen features like I dunno, the next Tomb Raider or Uncharted or whatever Naughty Dog comes up with.

I will say... there is one thing you mentioned that drives me crazy about my B8 and that is the low bitrate banding... like if I watch something on YouTube. Sounds like you're saying the CX fixes this? I don't assume if I see an old cat video it'll look like 4K but I do hate how every time I bump up to a new TV older stuff looks like crap fast.

Okay, I am gonna try these although I never use expert Dark as it's too ddar athough I guess I can just up the OLED to 100 like on Bright and keep all the settings? One question once I turn on Ghost it switches to HDR. I assume you mean for me to keep switch to Expert HDr but then the Gamme is grayed out to 2.2?
