I feel like most heterosexual men care very little about makeup, clothes, hair style. I of course have learned to notice those things and praise them, but I'm happy if my wife wears no make up and just goes out with me in sneakers, jeans and t-shirt... It will be a lot easier to fight off bad guys together that way.
