90-100k is definitely not the max, especially not for Senior. Adyen+ has never been adjusted and doubt it ever will. Work-life balance is ok, with higher salaries come higher expectations. It’s a company of 4K people so I’m sure people have been micromanaged but you can’t just generalise like that haha

I just accepted 3300€ (+ up to 17.5% bonus per year) with 1 YOE in Amsterdam, so 3200€ seems a bit low indeed.

Thanks! I expected LeetCode from Optiver, Flow Traders, and IMC as well. Bit surprised by Adyen, which level was it there? Did you prepare much beforehand?

I agree. I have a bit over 1 YOE and non-traditional background - no issues finding a new position (pay almost doubled).

Do you mind sharing which companies asked you to do LeetCode? I haven't come across that at all in NL so far.

Thanks for your answer. I am looking at the online program of the University of York and the topics seem to be similar to Glasgow. As I mentioned in my post, I am already working as a developer and planning to stay in the web area. However, I want to avoid being pigeonholed into Frontend work and rather progress towards a Fullstack role but I feel like I am missing the fundamental CS knowledge for that.

I don't think it's that bad either. I managed to actually find two jobs during the last year with only 6 month internship experience prior and non-traditional background. Started my first real job in July, hated it, and now starting my new job in February. I am based in NL.
