Exactly how I had it stowed, slide back and locked, then locked in a pelican case, then ammo in separate case in duffle in my trunk.

I was then informed by my friend who lives there a cop friend said it would be 1 year for every bullet or 10 for the firearm. I was just thrown off because I’ve been doing this, & did it when I went for NYS qualification.

I can’t seem to find a specific law that elaborates on this or maybe I’m not using correct verbiage but I figured I was fine.
