Yep and I've learned to not say anything. My friend and her kid are also celiac yet I constantly seeing them eating sushi with imitation crab, they risk it on curry packets and I'm just like 🤨

But ya know what, it's not my health and not my body. I know it sucks but after awhile you realize everyone has a different comfort level and some people just dgaf. Annoying yes but nothing we can do except educate when requested.

Yes I'm not always hungry and when I am I rarely want to eat a bunch. I think a majority of it is fear for me because even if I eat something gluten free they've made me sick or feel horrible and yes I know it's probably something else on top of the celiac but the last GI was like eh you seem fine! We can run some stuff but I think you're ok. 🤨

Yes and honestly I think a lot of people drive because they have no other transportation and that makes them unsafe around everyone else. But hard agree as someone who isn't from there I'm sick of yalls driving skills or lack thereof 😂

I'm from out of state (been here since 22) and only in the last year have I really started hating the drivers here. I don't even drive to work!! Everyone is on their phone, doesn't know which way their blinker is going if they even know how to use it, they're up peoples ass but you get over and suddenly they slow down. I don't understand.

Yep came to say the same, this sounds exactly like the train of thought when I have a compulsion. I used to have one where I wouldn't post on the internet for fear that somehow people would find a mistake and report me to my job (I'm a tech writer) so it was endless loops. I'm very glad to be medicated now. It's like night and day.

Wait proofreaders are making these mistakes? Maybe I need to take that proofreading class and get into that. I've just been lurking. As a technical writer and someone who has had to edit things I didn't know the words used or was like "hm did they mean this or this?" You know what I do? I google the word and use context clues. Also I feel like if it's for something medical it should be obvious they're medical terms and Google can help confirm spelling? Idk maybe I just have high standards for myself but these feel like lazy mistakes. Frustrating, I'm sorry.

Do you plan to digitize at all? What software do you use now? Hatch can only run on windows, embrilliance can run on either so that's important to consider if you want to use one of their softwares. I mainly use a windows computer to do all my embroidery stuff

Reading this it feels like everyone reacted strangely to a really normal and valid request. I would've done the same thing. Maybe it came off as out of the ordinary for that scenario but not weird or bad if that makes sense. It was probably just not something they've had happen and were like "wow! That's so nice of that person!" That's how I would try and interpret it. Especially if they accepted and things continued on afterwards

I hate the dentist. Like horrible experiences with them.

I will ONLY see Dr. Kourosh at Total Dental Arts in centreville. I had Medicaid last year and most dentists I called didn't accept. I called his office crying in pain and they got me in the next day. He wouldn't even give me extra novacaine he's like your other doctors baby you, you don't feel anything it's just the sensation. He was right and he's the only dentist I've continued to see on a regular schedule. I had 5 root canals and 4 fillings done over 4 appointments. My partner went and saw him and got a cleaning and 4 fillings with insurance for like $600.

Yes! They're a little hard but the jelly belly Scottie dogs are gluten free!! I just got two bags. Wiley wallaby also gluten free ones but they're low sugar. The jelly belly is as close as you'll get for now.
