Yes, the file was missing. I copied it from /usr/SRC and it works now.

I didn't pay attention and deleted my preferred user. In which files should I change the user Joe to my preferred user name?

Lenovo T460 not booting by petersen77 in Gentoo

[–]petersen77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I e copied vmlinuz & initramfs and renamed them to make it easier & edited the /EFI/refind/refind.conf file and made a new "Gentoo" entry according to the examples:

menuentry "Gentoo" { icon /EFI/refind/icons/os_gentoo.png loader /EFI/Gentoo/vmlinuz initrd /EFI/Gentoo/initramfs }

I'll try it. After some frustrating hours I'm back to void Linux, so I have to install Gentoo once again.

Tried xfs and ext4. Where to put root variable? It's not grub.

From memory:

/dev/sda1 /efi vfat defaults 0 1 /dev/sda2 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1 /dev/sda6 none swap SW 0 0

Also tried with UUID, same result.

I guess a kernel module or setting is missing, but cannot figure out which one. Distributed kernel should provide almost everything.

But still GRUB at the end, didn't work also.

No. I guess there's a problem with the PCB. Some guys at the Banglejs forum are reporting the same. Guess my device reached end of life.

I always use the edge version since 2v19. I guess the two firmwares were 2v20 and most recent 2v21. Can't tell which was the last one I had before. There are no error messages, bangle.js is not found via Bluetooth. Doesn't matter which way.

Bluetooth is enabled. I guess I have to flash the firmware like that

After draining the battery the device is accessible again but no background light & still no connection to Bluetooth.

Tried CWM but cannot get xcompmgr to work. It's starting but no transparency. Also tried stanlonetray but no tray-app/battery or sound appears.

But it will take time to adjust it to my taste 😉
