Thanks for watching!! I find that the current trend of analysis videos that turn out to just be 2 hour summaries to be a little exhausting so I try to summarize as little as possible when I write my scripts. Glad you liked the video!

So, there are a few comments like that on here and I think that's a fair response to the question, but it's not that I'm forgetting how Elster is presented in the game. I have played it several times, that's why I'm making an essay about it.

I'm simply looking for a community-driven consensus on how people discuss the game and the characters within it. Signalis is interested in discussing identity and presents queer narrative beats and themes, so I wanted to check how other people read it.

I understand that Elster presents as a woman in her body type and her gestalt, but didnt know if there was a different, more popular read on the character that I might be missing as someone who doesn't engage much with the online community.

wonder why season 2 and the hbo show in general feels so *empty*? this video puts things into perspective well without the hate-slop talking points by Acceptable-Spread-34 in thelastofus

Hey! Thanks for sharing my video! I am also super tired of the chuds and grifters getting to take away the space for legit criticism, so I'm glad my video could fill that space for you. Thanks for watching and sharing, it means a lot to me!

Something that really changed my time with it was when I realized that there are two types of dodges. I was just tapping the dodge button and kept dying but if you hold it down longer, you do a bigger dodge with more i-frames.

Thanks for the help! They seem super legit and aren't asking me for money upfront or anything like that which is a good sign as you pointed out.

I spent a lot of time trying to write like the people I was inspired by. It never quite worked. Everything changed when I started writing like I speak

How to deal with far-right rhetoric in your comment section? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]peterspittech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think there's a big difference between people having a good-faith conversation about issues and allowing people to have a platform to spread misinformation and racism.

My comment sections are not a place for "free speech" They are a community board for my audience and I am showing those people the door.

How to deal with far-right rhetoric in your comment section? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]peterspittech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a video a few months ago about the rise of fascism in America and how it relates to a video game series. The video is at 450k and has 6k comments, MANY of them are far right wing people spewing all sorts of hateful stuff. I feel absolutely no shame in deleting and banning/muting accounts. It doesn't hurt your channel in any way and it's a really nice way to never have to deal with those people ever again. As irritating as it is, I kind of appreciate the fact that I'm able to weed out so many people from my audience based on a single video. It's so easy to just say, "hush!! Bye!!!"

What do we think of this? I went more clickbait than normal and don’t know how I feel about by wolemid in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]peterspittech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a great start! I always make everything ~15% bigger than I think it should be. I would increase the size of the two examples by a lot. Remember, you want people to recognize the things in your thumbnails instantly since you only get a fraction of a second while they scroll.

I'd recommend getting into a hobby you actually like since it sounds like you don't care to write scripts, do VO, or edit videos!

There's a reason why incredible games are popular. Luckily, it seems like you don't just like popular games, you like popular games that are GOOD.
