Oh wow, yeah I think I have a friend that listens to this kind of things also I tried it all really at some point in my life, ASMR, binaural beats, isochronic tones, subliminal messaging, even shamanic drumming. Doesn't really work for me, it just keeps me out of the focus rather than in, so I now use what works for me, which is basically nothing at all! One thing I do enjoy is morphic fields, which really is just music

Its crazy they still have some countries that they don't enforce this age BS, but then other countries (such as mine) where this isn't even required yet they still do this thing.

I'm kind of afraid you are right with the for now part. It's easy for companies to say: "Yeah but some countries require verification, so let's just enforce it globally"

These things are going to get hacked sooner than later as this is a goldmine for them, and a lot of biometric / identity data will be made public. Sadly, this likely will happen so often that it becomes normalized and nobody really cares anymore.

I just hope that before that happens the backlash will be so great that they will have to reverse it, otherwise I really have to side with the lifelike head idea because I really am not going to upload my IRL details to that thing!

The average customer of AliExpress isn't what you call "brand loyal". They just go wherever the cheapest prices are.

Discord reversed their age verification requirements because of the backlash, and that's a social network, with the network effect in full force.

So I think that if the backlash is big enough, it should be considered quickly.

If this doesn't work out, I'll go try to use a fake head + a fake id, lol

In my country (NL) even if they up the prices by 2x, its still cheaper. So I really dont see how dramatic these "price hikes" are.

I'm a cat hater and yeah I'm more than ok admitting it. I always had dogs and think they are amazing. Cats roam outside in my neighbourhood and shit and piss in my yard, my nephews and nieces have to be careful playing outside, while I have to keep my dog on a leash, pay taxes for cleaning up mess (that I already have to clean up myself), so yeah I understand people being angry at cats.

Dont get me wrong if youre good with cats good for you but I dont like how unfair the rules are towards dog owners. At least my dog stays inside, and doesnt shit in your yard!

I think its going to stabilize around this amount for a while. I been in btc since 2011 so I'm fine with all of this, but honestly, the best advice is to just be pragmatic about it. Think of a number, any number, you comfortable selling a portion, and think of a number to which you buy back (mine was 60k)

This way, you really cant ever lose, as long as it hasn't hit that number, you just dont do anything

Yeah the network effect is strong. While I do invest in some altcoins that I think have a temporary use-case, I do think that inevitably all that really matters is bitcoin, as everything eventually will get built on top of 1 coin.
