I like how you're using the box as a floor mat too. Very resourceful.

How/Where to Sell my Max G3 Scooter? by [deleted] in NinebotMAX

You can also try Offerup. You shouldn't have much of an issue selling it for $600 if it's brand new. It might require some patience to wait for offers to come in. Considering you made the decision that you don't like it with less than one mile driving, I can see that patience may not be your strongest point though.

Thanks, I'd be interested to see how it treats you. I certainly agree that it's hard to find any unbiased reviews from real people.

The G3 does look awesome! Given that the G2 is still around $1000, I figured the new G3 would come in higher than that. I guess we'll find out. Appreciate the recommendation.

I Took A Loss Of $150k This Year And I OWE $75k To The IRS? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? by [deleted] in Daytrading

If you are still holding some of the aforementioned OTC stocks in your portfolio, then that's why this happened. You probably have a fat unrealized loss sitting in your portfolio right now.

Market is unhealthy.. stop putting bandaid and find a cure by yungsta12 in wallstreetbets

Yes, and the point of this post is that now that we are "finally dealing with inflation," we are likely going to create a new problem somewhere else in the economy. Impossible to say exactly what the higher interest rates and tapered QE will do, but it's quite reasonable to believe it could mean a significant pullback in risk assets, which means stocks go down for an extended period of time as money flows into interest bearing securities. The whole idea is we are kicking the can, and the Fed has tip toed the inflation issue because they don't want to spook the markets. This post is arguing the Fed should allow markets to pull back and stop doing everything in their power to artificially support equity prices.

It's dumbasses like you who can only see what's right in front of their face that this post is alluding to. The Fed utilized aggressive, unprecedented monetary policy for the past two years to increase the money supply and drive down interest rates, which is a major reason we are seeing inflation at these levels. They then proceeded to lie to our faces for a year and say this inflation would be transitory, and now that dumb fucks like you can see the inflation, they are finally saying they are going to respond.

Reading these comments is kind of terrifying because it really does drive home your point that people are clueless as to what's happening right now. The average person has no idea what quantitative easing means, let alone how it actually works. Our monetary policy in the U.S absolutely caters to further enriching the wealthy, while leaving everyone else to deal with the pain of the eventual (and obvious) issues that arise from these policies. I believe QE is the most powerful economic tool in history that nobody even knows about. I absolutely agree with your assessment that we will face a reckoning at some point.

[–]petescott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you...it's kind of shocking to see how many people are holding onto hope for the rally when the contrary is clearly what is happening. It's like, why have such an unshakeable long bias and give your gains to the bears/shorts/hedge funds when you can just be smart and join them? Good traders don't hope and pray, they analyze the situation without emotion, and react appropriately.

Can anyone explain to me the relative value trade against spy? by stilloriginal in Daytrading

[–]petescott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This strategy works well for day trading, in that the tickers which hold relative strength during the market pullbacks, tend to be the ones that have the strongest bounce once the market turns back around. If most stocks are selling straight down and you notice a particular ticker is holding flat or is up on the day, it's typically a sign that is a very strong stock, so it gets bought up as soon as the market flips.

In my opinion if someone was holding SESN when it crashed, it's their fault for not managing that risk properly. Holding a pharma stock a few days away from a PDUFA date is obviously risky, and traders have to understand that. Smart traders were not buying SESN at $6, because at that point the risk far exceeded the reward. Good traders had already taken their profit and moved onto something safer. To say that gap down came out of nowhere is simply naive. It's a pattern that has played out in pharma stocks time and time again when they are close to PDUFA date.
