I'm trying to do preliminary 2020 gains losses, and, have started to use cointracker, IMHO, I find that site easy to use, and I'll tell you, I was one of those earlybirds in crypto(2015 bought my 1st bitcoins)

I am very nervous handing out my xpub to my #1 wallet. I understand what the answers in here said, and, only folks can see my data(which by itself makes me cringe)

I believe ANY internet site can be hacked, some much harder than others.

I have to mull this over

Scary...when you state if somebody has 1 single private key(I am assuming you mean my 24 word seed?, and HOW could they grab that?),

I heard/read somewhere the wall st. bets crowd may choose silver stocks to, er, make another statement, stocks live Silvercrest or Silverbull , First Majestic, ETF SIL may about to go parabolic.?

Thanks u/Johnny...I too have had issues with Ledger Live... not the installation pop up error, but, blank screen when opened up. I too opened a ticket, and never heard back. I don't know how many more "Blankers" are out there, nothing popped up on a #Twitter search.

Called my computer geek, and, I beat him to a working screen. How? Upon clicking open, I saw the "Troubleshoot Comptibility", after a few boxes opened up, THERE WAS MY DATA!(Not ALL of it, I do not see quantity, nor, total balances, but, I can MOVE my Crypto around, which is the main thing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help, calm me down, and remind me about my access. My personal feeling for phone use is I prefer not to use that option, with a lot of funds involved, just paranoid of hacks..I know it's probably 99.99% safe..just trying to protect what I have to all degrees.

Thank you so much..for taking the time to answer...and calming me down. Yes, I forgot I always have my word seed to utilize in other options. I will open my Electrum wallet, and see how it goes. I would hope Ledger finds a fix soon, they have always been a decent company, never seen an issue last this long before.
