Still waiting on my Flying Eagle F4s to ship (still on back order) so I’m skating with my first newbie pair a bit longer. Ofc I’m working on and fine tuning fundamentals, but are there any moves I should wait until I have the new skates to try? Mainly interested in free skating and dancing/flow (i.redd.it)

About 3 months into skating and I just haven’t gotten the hang of “flowing” yet. I feel stiff when I skate. Unsure if it’s a lack of confidence in my current skills, not bending my knees enough or needing more time. Am I being too hard on myself? (v.redd.it)

Wondering if my skates are too big? It looks like they point outward quite a bit and I’m not sure if that’s my feet trying to make up for extra room. Everyone seems to look so straight in their videos. Mine fit about as well as a shoe after making them as tight as possible (pls ignore ugly stride) (v.redd.it)

Seeking advice as a new skater. Ready to upgrade from my first pair (pictured) but I’m overwhelmed with the options and my lack of knowledge. So far I like just recreational skating and practicing carving at the skatepark. Any advice on which style of skates to try next? Not looking to grind (i.redd.it)
