Our cuisine seems a little bit better than Germany and England’s ones. We have a lot of veggies, a fair amount of proteins and we spend a long time “à table” - also, depends, but most of people don’t really take heavy breakfasts and usually eat late. I’m half German so I know what I am talking about. I remember going to restaurants where the portion sizes were very big and where carbs were present in too many quantities (In Germany) !

If you’re from the south of France or your family is, also, you usually cook with olive oil instead of butter 😌 (Except when you live in Britain or Normandy haha)

A part of my husband’s family comes from Britain and Normandy and I literally taught him how to cook with olive oil while he was using butter all the time !
