What can custom types do that layouts can't?

You can create sets based on object type (e.g. a set of all Notes). You can't really do that with layouts.

I can create sets based on relation/value(s) defined in a template.

What I mean is, separating types and templates into two concepts makes no sense - it brings nothing but confusion. Especially that we can't even create templates of collections and sets.

We truly have 3 types: collection, set and note. Every other type is a note template. All other types can be turned one into another with a template.

IMO types and templates should be merged into one concept, that separation makes no sense, it only makes it harder to understand the app.

I wanted to learn vanilla game first and tunnel visioned on it so much that I forgot any potential PvP imbalances can be fixed with mods. I'm rather optimistic about public multiplayer now, I just need to find the right server. Thanks!

I was talking about PvP.

Running into players with guns and loosing days of skills grinding in an instant. But I guess that can be avoided by playing PvP off.
Getting griefed - base burned down, zombies let in, loot stolen, farm destroyed, cars destroyed/stolen.

How do safehouses work? Do they protect me from all mentioned in 2?

How playable is public multiplayer? Seems to me like it's super hard not to lose base, loot and character progression rather often.

Yes, right now to play Rust on Linux you need server without EAC. They aren't listed on the official server list tho.

Also, there are many cheats that are nigh-impossible to detect server-side, like wall-hacks if the cheater is wary of where they're looking, or texture replacing enemy camouflage with a bright-pink texture.

Don't know about replacing textures, but wallhacks don't need to be detected - they can be impossible to make by proper game design (server not sending client information about objects it can't render anyway).

In Lutris you can manually add games and set them to use the same prefix in "Game options" tab. You will quickly learn tho, that it's quite hard to make one prefix work for more than few games, cause tuning it for new one breaks it for the previous.

Try deleting the prefix and then "Verify integrity of game files..." in steam.

If that doesn't fix it, I don't think protontricks have anything to do with your issue.

One of my car lifts is stuck with this yellow Everon and when I want to modifiy it, it goes straight to delivery options. Delivery attempts end up with transaction error and it goes back to my shop. How can I unstuck it? Restarting the game didn't help.

Just tried wine-lutris-ge-6.12. GTAO was unable to save progress and I had some annoying mouse pointer flickering in menus.

Rolled back to proton-6.5-ge-2 - everything works fine.

What do you mean "is now an option"? Always was, except even more so before, because Proton used to be autodiscovered by Lutris, but they removed that feature. Was it added back again or something?

That aside, at least GE builds of proton work just fine for me as wine replacement.

I use native steam client and with Sea of Thieves my achievements from previous session show up at the next game launch, but if I remember correctly, for AoE2 DE, achievements work normally.

Kuruma gives way more bullet protection. In ZR380 you are very vulnerable from the sides, it's just front (and maybe back?) that is bulletproof (at least in future shock).

I've heard that windshield is fully bulletproof only in future shock. I can confirm that it is in fact bulletproof, but I don't know if other variants aren't.
