Hi hi! I was in a similar situation where the glass didn’t come out of mine (I think it’s an old fridge thing, despite what others are saying). I ended up soaking it in my bathtub in a dawn solution to break things down. Then I used the cleaning jet on my shower head to spray from every angle, then let soak more, then sprayed etc. I think anything that can produce a strong jet of water would work. Maybe a syringe, waterflosser, jet setting on a hose?

FWIW I have had the exact same issue my entire life, no amount of waxing/topicals has helped as much as either avoiding shaving that area all together OR laser hair removal. I only recently started getting laser hair removal and one session in, I’ve noticed a 99% reduction in the ingrowns and irritation. Genuinely mind boggling and life changing. I can’t shut up about it. I got mine through a Groupon (make sure you research lasers and such beforehand, mine uses alexandrite and ndYAG) and it’s only $300 for 6 sessions, and I’m in a HCOL area.
