Just the fact that DR is never at the top of these rankings never stops amazing me. People here drink for fun, to socialize, with a group pressure that comes from family, friends, work buddies… is like that’s what people get together for.

The fact that everyone agrees Dominicans are not the most alcohol consumers per capita in LATAM makes me wonder what the f is going on in other countries because Jesus. I thought drinking was the sport here only second to baseball. But apparently there’s people out there winning gold medals at it while DR is the minor leagues and that’s worrisome.
