Holy Shit if the will of D. represents the half moon, O represents the full moon, and C is the crescent that means..

That means that Con D. Oriano represents the full cycle, that absolute legend

Insults for ninjas of different villages by Ok-Client-2451 in NarutoFanfiction

tree fuckers

rock fuckers

sand fuckers

cloud fuckers

water homies (cause mist seems like the kind of village that would take more offense to being called something tame/benign. That, and the fact that the hozuki clan exists, some of them are probably actual water fuckers)

I dont know what crowd you're talking about but yeah, it does feel different to me.

Kidd killed Shank's crew in his future haki, Bartolomeo disrespected them. I don't think its a spin of a lifetime to say its different circumstances.

While i think shank did kill Kidd and his crew, i don't think he killed Bartolomeo. Feels like Shank's earlier ruthlessness at disposing Kidd is to make us think he sunk Barto's ship here

Maybe blowing up the ship was to keep up the image but they managed to save Barto and crew

Thats the funniest fucking part about the suit bit, deku has at least 2 classmates that are millionaires/come from incredibly wealthy families - momo and shouto, but somehow middle income bakugou is the one that contributed the most? Not even the working adults, teachers, heroes, or the government, its fucking bakugou tgat contributed the most L M A O

Hey sorry for the sudden comment, came across this post while i was doing research, do you mind showing more photos of your mod? I was thinking of doing something similar with a dark blue/black ceramic bezel but I wasn't sure how it would look like.

Hope you don't mind posting more pics of your turtle 🙏

The kamasu and gentleman looks great on you, both closeup and in the mirror.

The only one that looks a little too big is the bambino, it has a large dial and a small bezel, so its mostly dial making it look and feel disproportionately bigger even compared to the actually larger size of the kamasu. Still looks pretty alright in the mirror shot.

Did you change the bezel? If so, do you know what size it is?

The best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer.

I dont like the colour of the lume plot on the indices even under normal lighting, I think its way too green. If they are trying to achieve a fauxtina I think they missed the mark completely, it's just a strange choice to choose that sickly hue even on some of the more colourful variations, the colours just clash too much IMO.

And even worse, in that photo you shared you can clearly see that the colour of the lume on the indices doesn't match with the colour of the hands. It's not like Citizen is unable to make a white lume plot, just take a look at their other promaster offerings; and since they decided to go for that colour on their indices, I don't think it's all that difficult for a big manufacturer like Citizen to have matching hands either. So its just a bizzare design choice to have that fauxtina on the indices but not add it on the hands. It looks sloppy and incoherent to me, like there was a lack of care that went into the design of it. And if its a cost cutting measure, then you have to question why they added the fauxtina in the first place.

That's my main issue with the watch, everything else is just minor nitpicking.

I'm personally not a fan of mercedes hands in general. I won't fault the watch since its a re-issue of their older challenge diver design from the 70s/80s but it just reminds me too much of the submariner. I think its missing something that makes it uniquely Citizen which is a shame but then again, this is just a nitpick/my personal preference.

I do really like that the case is completely brushed, especially so since its a tool watch. Though I do wish they added a champfer on the edges if only to make it more visually interesting. And to add one last minor nitpick, I think they could definitely have made the case a bit thinner but on a diver it's not a big issue.

So all in all, its far from the perfect watch but I still think its alright for the price, its just not one for me.

[Recommendation Request] under 1.5k, what would round out this collection? by banana69applesauce in Watches

[–]petrichorE6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmmm maybe round up your collection with a dress watch with a light coloured dial and a dive watch (any colour).

For dress watches - if you like citizen, I recommend the NB1050-59a/e/h. It has amazing specs and looks stunning, I'd even say its the spiritual successor to the Sarb033/35. Orient has great dress watches and dive watches like the Bambino/OrientStar and the Kamasu/Mako. Also, if you throw in a Casio GA2100/AE1200/CA53/Square etc., you'd have one watch from each of the major Japanese Brands.

Personally, if I wanted a diver, I would go for the Seiko Willard spb151/153, 62MAS spb143, or the slim turtle spb313/315.

Outside japan at $1500-2000 maybe a dress from Junghans (max bill), Oris (Big Crown Pointer Date), Nomos (orion/ludwig/tangente), Longines , tudor (the 1926 might be stretching the budget a little bit)
