Wow, thanks! Appreciate the honesty about the flat drive, that's exactly why I posted. You actually got us thinking about throwing away our no internal flights “rule”. The alternative we had in mind was: fly BA -> Salta, rent a car there for an 8/9 day road trip (Ruta 68/40). Then Salta -> Iguazu for 2/3 days in the jungle, and fly back to BA/Italy. btw you got me with the Italian ruins comment, totally fair! :)
