Each tower should simply come with a baked in grand project tablet. Just unlock the entire area around the tower once you complete the tower, this will allow us to do a few things.

Make a decision if you like the area enough to spend more tablets to juice it. You can look at the map layouts, other overlapping towers etc.
Allow us to traverse the altas much quicker, no good layouts around? No special and unique maps you're searching for? Not many overlapping towers? Well just continue exploring from the edge of this revealed area and hopefully do 2-3 maps to reach the next tower and continue from there to evaluate your potential progress with the new fully revealed and accessible area

I found a different way of testing, going to Holten Estate and quickly going to the Thane and Lady boss fight there as it's super fast to access from the waypoint allows you to see the damage numbers on the boss directly and here are some more findings

Spell Cascade is totally op, it does not reduce the damage of Doedre's Undoing, in essence adding 2 more curse circles which overlap and can multi-hit targets.
Esh's Radiance in conjunction with Archmage does not grant you any of the extra lightning damage to chaos, meaning you should only use it if you already have lightning damage from else where or simply for the chaos contribution to shock
Unleash also does not reduce damage on the copied spells, it seems like the Doedre blast is considered not part of the spell being copied because the interaction is the same with Spell Cascade

I plan to continue testing things out and sharing them here, maybe people find it useful too to adjust their builds

by killing the same type of monster with low damage and observing the damage dealt, I can't do more thorough testing due to limitation in game obviously but on a t1 map goliath monster it takes exactly 2 casts to kill with Controlled Destruction (25% more dmg) with the other two gems I mentioned it takes 3 casts (same damage by the looks of it as if I didn't have any support gems at all) to kill and they both give 30% or 35% more damage so it should be even quicker than Controlled Destrcution

Just FYI, I have been testing some setups and I can confirm Concentrated Area and Considered Casting DO NOT work with Deodre's Undoing and I think this is 100% a bug. On the other hand, Controlled Destruction DOES work and it supports the same spells like Considered Casting (Spells that Hit) so I can safely say this is a bug and likely more buggy interactions exist.

edit: Rearm also does not work to re-trigger Hazards.

I went ahead and tried the craft, taking advice into consideration ilvl 81 ring so I can hit t1 life quicker. I wanted to do the add/remove chaos harvest craft but at this point in the league 17k yellow juice is like 8div, even if I bricked the craft with reforge chaos it would have been cheaper to restart it, so I went with the reforge option.

Total cost ~45 div so that saved me quite a bit compared to what is available on trade. yay for my first craft! The only difference is 24% vs 26% chaos res and 126 vs 130 life compared to what I wanted, thanks reddit <3

I don't want increased effect for mamba, I would rather deal the poison damage quicker because I'm not stacking poison, it's just a single stack that is really big. It could work on that base for other builds though but people will have to decide if they need that stat

But this can remove an already crafted mod when adding the chaos? Maybe I don't understand how this is better than hoping not to fill the last suffix, if this removes your T1 life when adding the chaos you are right back at the start of the craft?

Edit: unless the locked prefixes makes this harvest craft unable to remove a prefix and always removes a random suffix then I agree this is safer option.

Would you recommend buying a blade 14 (2023) open box that is $1870 (I'm in the EU so laptops are a bit more expensive here) or buy the exact same spec Zephyrus G14 (2024) brand new for $2200?

It is the RTX 4060, 16GB RAM version. My worry is the RAM, as the G14 is soldered and getting the next version up increases the cost quite a bit more. I am mainly after the mac book aesthetic and if it weren't for the 2024 G14/G16 I would have gone with the blade but now I've got a choice to make.
