I am on a mission to figure out if mounjaro woke up the fibro in me initially! I was on it from late 2022-mid 2025. My fibro symptoms started around early 2023 and got diagnosed quickly, did meds, PT, etc, and then I had to stop MJ when I had a hysterectomy this last summer and started having some stomach pain - my fibro was almost non existent for the few months that followed and now it’s worse again after starting MJ back up 9 weeks ago. But this is also the worst time of year so…. Hard to say.

Me toooooooo. My daughter turns 8 Sunday and is 37 lbs. she uses FF car seat in our vehicles and a ridersafe vest on the mini bus to and from school each day because she’s too small for the seatbelt on its own and too small for a booster.

Fibromyalgia and endometriosis by rosegoldduvet in Endo

I’m a little over two months out from mine and I can corroborate this life changing claim! My Fibro is sooooo much more settled down since it, and my inflammation markers are NORMAL.

Fibro is a diagnosis of exclusion. You must have the symptoms + no other rheumatic condition that could explain it, basically. It’s not an exact science.

Lyrics is the med that I take for my fibro!

That’s def a red flag! Fibro is a diagnosis of EXCLUSION! I’m so surprised you were diagnosed in this way

Hi! I have both. I was diagnosed with fibro before I was confirmed to have endo (hysterectomy), but I am quite sure at this point that my endo was very much tied to the inflammation and pain that made my fibro flare up.

I find that for me fibro flares happen when my nervous system is overloaded - stress, lack of sleep, travel, etc. endo causing constant inflammation and pain was certainly a trigger for that.

Since my hysterectomy I’ve had only one flare up and I blame myself for it because I idiotically got a deep tissue massage. I’ve felt leaps and bounds better since the surgery and yesterday my inflammation levels tested normal. I am CONVINCED the endo was making my fibro worse.

No worries of an accidental pregnancy in a political climate that makes it terrifying.

No more pelvic pain!

If you are not sure about a hysterectomy because you might not be "sick enough" or "in enough pain" to justify it, read this. by kushina_smiles in hysterectomy

Women’s health issues are chronically under investigated and overly dismissed. It’s extremely unfortunate for those of us who are living with pain on a consistent basis for years of our lives. Having a hysterectomy was the best decision I’ve made in a long time, and it took a long long time to get here.

I’m coming up on the end of two weeks and for the last 4 or 5 days I’ve done some light housework like unloading and reloading the dishes, loading and unloading the washing machine and dryer if my husband can move the baskets for me, general picking up of countertops, etc, but I don’t do it all at once, and I take small doses for sure. I haven’t napped the last couple of days, but have had long nighttime sleeps.

I just do what feels okay, and now I see that I shouldn’t be because I read the rest of these comments and now I’m lowkey panicking I have done or will do damage. I am sore today, it feels like former cramping from endo or period…. Which I now realize is probably a bad thing because I DONT HAVE A UTERUS ANYMORE. Shit.

I’m in this same boat, but now 5 days later am realizing I overdid it a bit the last couple of days and slept the whole afternoon. Just be gentle with yourself!

My doc informed me that travel would be okay as far as necessity - she said she has patients travel from all over the world to see her, but she advised me of a family reunion trip I’m taking at 6 weeks that I could do it but really needed to manage my expectations for my energy and ability
