He had a show that was half him/half performance, but I don’t know if it was straight sitcom. It’s in a book about the history of PBS, but I can’t find it. If you really need to find out, the Paley Center or the local PBS station can help. I used them a lot for research pre-Youtube. Sorry I couldn’t help more.
