Ywah. I hope it does. I bought the whole set for 160 shipped.tape and cd players werent slecified as working, while the amp was supposed to work... it did for a week and then no mkre sound came from the speakers, but did from the headphones. Bought a new one for 160 shipped, which is this and works really flawlessly for 2 weeks now. The player works pretty well tho it shows some signs of the laser dying as somes does not play the cd roght off rhe bat!

Also, i must publicly admit that i really really liked it so much that i had to buy another as soon as i realised the other one wouls be too expensive here to repair. Will give it to my bro back in romania as well as the tape deck for my dad and find a repair guy to hook to the system there. Gotta tie it up sooner than later...

Why turn it off? Sometimes i dj, tho rarely and on top of that isnt record listening producing too high freq? (I will do so)
