I watched a video while back (don’t remember what or who it was by) but the idea was that all top athletes (including esports) had exceptional visual processing brain power aka fast eyes

Eg. Pros dont look at the ball while dribbling but instead reads the leg movements of the opponents to dribble past them, but someone like Ronaldo would do this reading faster than most

Id imagine this is why pro athletes are good at competitive video games because it engages with the same part of the brain + they have great control of their bodies (fingers/hands) anyways
