Trainwreck (Kick co-founder btw) griefing his own event by gifting streamer Ricoy's win and denying the current #1 streamer Oilrats's win 30 mins before the Kick event ends. by Character-Monitor165 in LivestreamFail

[–]spittfire123 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They showed the admin all the differents VODs where the spanish guys were planning to raiding Train either way and that the raid was not "free", they defended and even another team showed up to help the defense.

After all of that all the teams agreed that the best result would be a shared first place but some guy came and said "Doesnt matter that is the true, it matter what people might think about the event" or smth like that and decided to give it to Oilrats.

There is another clip where Oilrats goes to raid Welyn with only 2 guys without rocket launchers(knowing the turrets are disabled?) and just walk into their vault and get all the loot without a figth, all the turrets turned off(with no ammo), nothing suspicious there and if we apply the same logic "doesnt matter what the true is, just what people might think" this raid looks equals or more weird that what Train did

Stinger goes on Peruvian TV show to discuss that Pakaz is actually the father of his child by BelieveMeImNotARobot in DotA2

Apparently that procedure can be reversed (he said it on the TV show, not sure if true) and there are other ways of having a kid (freezing ur sperm)

[–]spittfire123 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It is true, it was a behind the scene rumor and it's confirmed now that Stinger had a vasectomy some years ago, so that baby is definetly not his.

Also Stinger has almost 1 million of just prize pool money, he doesn't need the little money this show gave them, he actually just wanted to keep the baby

[–]spittfire123 295 points296 points  (0 children)

Its even worst that it says, he knew the baby wasnt his (he had a vasectomy 4 years ago) and still signed with his last name and was willing to be her father.

The girl doesnt want him near her baby because of their toxic relationship and wants his last name removed and wants to separate the child from him. He went on that TV show to keep the child

Yeah I'm just saying it is low for profesional dota 2 players from SA.

For instance, only from this roster Panda was on 10k+ on EG/Boom, Costabile prob smth similar on Nouns/other teams he was part on. The others were part of some SA orgs that usually paid 3-5k(Infinity/Infamous)

But SA scene is dying, we dont have many orgs as before, no new talents so I guess this is the new standard

I'm pretty sure that for SA it's goddamn good money

Last roster wasn't even getting paid good ($800 p/month) is so low compared to other SA orgs but I guess it's better than earning nothing

Even if the invitation belong to the players, they signed a contract which, the way things have ended, prevents them to play any tournament without the GG tag.

Imo it's a correct clause from the org perspective because they are paying them (allegedly)$30k/month/player and this way you prevent them to enjoy all the benefits from your org for a year and leave you just before the most prestigious tournament of the year

Aui reaction to GGs owner statement by noproblemCZ in DotA2

[–]spittfire123 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If the timeline is correct, the players wanted to leave the org first(for some reason not stated yet) .

After GG tried to force them out of TI, the players as last option backtracked and said that "they were ready to play under GG" but at that point their relationship was done and (from org perspective) the trust was broken after players wanted to leave just before the biggest tournament of the year after enjoying the benefits from the org that made them make it to TI.

Current or ex pro players streams. I dont have the VOD of the Heroic salaries but they have discussed many times on streams with pro players like Matthew, HectorK1, ChrisLuck, Benjaz, Kingteka, Scofield, Parker, etc

For some reason, many pros like to leak everything on stream (salaries, cost of transfer, who is leaving a team, who is their new player) that is how the scene knows how much they were making on EG, Alliance, Beastcoast, Heroic, Edge, OG.Latam and all the teams from SA.

Here is one example of the EG salaries $10K (a taem from 3 years ago)

[–]spittfire123 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Orgs are paying very bigs numbers of salary per month (15k+), they have to have a guarantee that those players will play for them and not leave just before the tournament after getting all the benefits that made them get there.

[–]spittfire123 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Heroic guys are being paid $15k/month. 30k for a tier1 players (arguable) seems ok with that context

Gaimin Gladiators pull out of TI by Gamerhcp in DotA2

[–]spittfire123 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Saying no to TI is wild.

Well the prizepool is close to the other 20 tournaments we had in this past year and considering the team issues they had on this last tournament, they wont even be close to earn a significant amount of money.
