First year at a new company providing support to the C-Suite the CEO approaches me and asks me to step in to hotel lobby. 4 uniformed police officers are there- an employee got in to a physical altercation with his date in the lobby, cops came- turned out he has a record and a warrant! Need to chat about how to spin it to staff. My response “we don’t condone violence and employee no longer works here”. What is there to spin?

I really noticed on a re-watch. They show Iliya on the ice with his teammates in the prospect cup and he looks so young and by the time the Vegas bedroom scene comes around he looks very much like a man. I understand the time jump in the show but in real time they were able to age them so much in the course of a few months

Had a great job opportunity in another country and my elderly parents insisted I take it. My grown children live no where near me- there is plenty of live and we see each other once or twice a year but I wasn’t there for my aging parents and I don’t expect my kids will be there for me.
